You can also check the sugar content.  Avoid snacking on fatty or sugary foods.  Fruit, yogurt and veggies are excellent for snacking.  Plan your meals, considering your calorie intake and stick to you planned menu.  Make sure that you weigh yourself weekly, recording the results.  It is a great motivational tool.  Once you see the results it boost your confidence.  Include both cardio and resistance training in your programme.</description>
